Friends AGM this Thur 11th Nov

The Friends of Downs View AGM is taking place on Thursday 11th November at 7:30pm via zoom.

The Friends of Downs View and Link College are looking for new members to get involved with the school and college. This would mean helping to fundraise, help build the parent /carer community within the school and seek new connections with businesses within the local community for donations for raffles etc. If you cannot make meetings (which many cannot), there are loads of different roles you can take on. Such as Social media manager, being in charge of focusing on external community links, collecting raffle prizes. Perhaps you are particularly good at organising events? Virtual fundraising? Or simply have ideas to bring to the table to help fundraise for our wonderful school and college!!

    Friends of Downs View School & Link College
    SUMMER FUN DAY - TOMORROW!!!!! Saturday 29th June, 1 – 4 pm, School field, Woodingdean. Can't wait to see everyone for our fabulous Summer Fun Day - expect a fun packed afternoon!😀 For all those coming along here are few last minute updates:⭐️Remember to bring cash with you for the refreshments and stalls (we cannot take card payments). ⭐️Bring a picnic to eat on the field. ⭐️Face painting is on offer at the start of the Fun Day, but may not be available later.⭐️Cake donations can be brought with you on the day with clearly labelled ingredients if homemade. ⭐️We have a bouncy castle!! There will be someone overseeing this for safety, but you are ultimately responsible for your young person. ⭐️DJ Owen will be providing music to create a fantastic summer atmosphere for us!
